This week I planted more Wild flower mix – the bed took an age to prepare having been covered in weed control membrane and bark chippings for the last 8 years! Once all the roots and debris were cleared we dug back in the composted bark and several bags of sand to try and drain the soil as it is very heavy. Several double digs later the ground was ready to plant the seeds. By torchlight we sowed the seeds – so determined was I that they must be planted before the end of March!
Keep an eye on my blog posts for updates on the Wild Flower progress – last year’s were spectacular!
